Piano and singing tuition with Susan Lamont

I offer piano and singing tuition to all students of varying ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced.

I take great pride and pleasure in planning lessons individually, week by week and take great pride in helping  pupils overcome their musical problems. 

As an individual I still undergo lessons myself , as I believe there is always more to be learnt and seeing other teachers at work is always fascinating.  Added to this I like to read and keep up with Music Educational News.  I enjoy teaching Theory of Music and have written my own course for beginners to Grade 1, based on Musical Dictation, which  has proved popular with many of my pupils. 

I am always constantly working to improve my teaching methods and materials.  Once a year, I put on a “Pupil Concert”, which so far has turned out to be a fun and enjoyable evening. All proceeds from my pupil concerts go to charity.
